A replica phonograph made in the xxxx's & xxxx's to resemble the beautiful grafonola's of the 20's & 30's "The Grafonola" with turntable and trumpet speaker that swivels to any horizontal angle, oak wood, (I believe) and the hand crank is used to change the radio station. Features stereophonic high fidelity sound and plays 78, 45, 33 and 16 rpm vinyl records. Beautiful wood case on turned wood legs.
Guild Grafonola was manufactured by the Guild Radio and Television Corporation, Inglewood,
CA. The original price was $199.95, in today's current money it would be $1,563.69.
The turntable works, and there is one needle, in the player arm. It all works! When the records are playing, the speaker is in the horn. Switch to the radio and you'll hear the sound from 2 speakers in the box.
The underside has the original paperwork, tube information, schematics of the player, etc.
